Cosmetic Dentist & Principal Dentist

Dr. Renu Karn graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1999 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She has also completed postgraduate training in several areas, including Implant Dentistry from the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry in 2009 and Periodontology from the Institute of Laser Dentistry, California. She has more than 20 years of experience in General and Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Karn is an exceptionally competent clinician who is passionate and loves all aspects of Dentistry. However, she has developed a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, Full Mouth Rehabilitation, Periodontal Treatments, Dental Implant Surgery, CEREC (Ceramic White Fillings), Crowns, Veneers, and PST (Pinhole Gum Surgery). Additionally, she’s trained in different cosmetic teeth straightening methods such as Cfast & Clear Correct, SPARK Clear & Angel Aligners.

Maintaining up-to-date skills and knowledge requires Dr Karn to travel the world to stay current on techniques, procedures, and technology. This ensures you receive a high standard of care and lasting, natural-looking results.

Dr. Shania graduated in 2025 and joined Dental Excellence as an associate dentist working side by side with Dr Renu Karn. Having worked at Dental Excellence in supporting roles and receiving direct mentorship from Dr Karn in the past 10 years, she is fully aligned with the philosophies of Dental Excellence and its standard of care. She is passionate about every facet of Dentistry. She strongly believes modern treatment approaches based on the latest advances in technology and clinical science are the gateway to providing the best patient care. Dr. Shania excels at applying her highly-specialized knowledge in dentistry to solving her patients’ dental problems – from general to complex. With over twenty years of dental practice, Dr. Welyn Gordo’s expertise is well-established. Her qualifications were obtained from the University of the East and furthered in Australia. Dr. Gordo has developed a broad skill set encompassing General Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery, with a particular emphasis on wisdom teeth extraction.

Advanced orthodontic techniques have been pursued at the Asian Centre for Research and Special Studies, reflecting her commitment to professional advancement.
